For more than a decade,
Created in 2009, Gelacom is a wealth management company. Performance, transparency, integrity and adoption of a prudential strategy are one of the most important criteria that underpin our values and the quality of our services through an adopted approach that promotes continuous progress in our business.
A confirmed experience of the management team ensuring a high-quality professional approach with risk management and organized governance, allowing us a better return, this good performance is reflected in a large portfolio in constant evolution.
A large portfolio constantly evolving.
For more than a decade, Gelacom Group has diversified into high value-added sectors in order to bring variation and innovation.
We are committed to our involvement as a corporate citizen by constantly ensuring that we carry out our activity with respect for and preservation of the environment. Sustainable development is now a culture in its own right for the group.
One of our objectives is to promote national export development. Moreover, it is essential for us to benefit from economic growth in certain regions of the world while exporting Moroccan know-how.
Thanks to a very involved team and quality results, we are very confident in our ability to build solid and sustainable growth while combining entrepreneurship and volunteering.
Finally, I would like to conclude with a quote from Napoleon Hill that I particularly appreciate:
“All achievements, all acquired wealth, have their beginning in an idea.”
Originally from Casablanca, Mr Mehdi Laraki studied hospitality at the University of Glion in Switzerland and also holds an executive MBA. He evolved in the family group Filacom before creating his own Holding: Gelacom, mainly specialized in wealth management.
Businessman from father to son, Mr Mehdi Laraki diversifies his group by investing in several sectors such as renewable energies, agriculture and consulting.
In May 2014, he was appointed Honorary Consul of the Republic of Armenia in Morocco and thus contributes to the maintenance of economic and cultural relations between the two countries.
Through his dedication to entrepreneurship, Mr. Laraki is an active member of several national and international federations and associations such as YPO and YPO Morocco, WPO and the Union of Honorary Consuls In Morocco (UCHM). He was also re-elected President for a second term in March 2021 of the Réseau Entreprendre Maroc association of around 350 business leaders whose mission is to contribute to the success of new entrepreneurs who significantly create jobs and wealth.
Mr Mehdi Laraki was elected in 2020 Chairman of the Morocco-China Business Council at the CGEM because the confederation remains convinced that his in-depth knowledge of the relations between the Moroccan and Chinese private sectors, his dedication and his skills, will be of great contribution to the future work of the committee. He also greatly contributed, thanks to his expertise in Sino-Moroccan relations, to the signing of the MOU between the General Confederation of Moroccan Enterprises (CGEM) and the Chinese Council for the Development of International Trade (CCPIT) in January 2021.
