🇲🇦🇨🇳 Mr. Chakib ALJ, President of CGEM, received yesterday a high level Chinese economic delegation led by Mr. Ren Hongbin, Chairman of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CPPIT) in the presence of Mr. Anas Guennoun, Vice-President of the International Committee of CGEM, and Mr. Mehdi Laraki, President of the Morocco-China Business Council.
This gathering was an opportunity to discuss ways to further strengthen economic and commercial partnership ties between both countries, notably through the Belt and Road Initiative. It also provided a platform for Moroccan and Chinese operators to present investment opportunities, with a particular emphasis on several strategic sectors, including industry, banking services, pharmaceuticals, infrastructure development, renewable energy, and new technologies.
The meeting was marked by the signing of two MoU’s between CGEM and the CCPIT, as well as with the China International Exhibition Center Group, establishing a structured framework to deepen bilateral cooperation.
